This message serves as a heartfelt call to return to the foundational mission of the church: helping people know and follow Jesus. It begins by acknowledging how easy it is for the "big C" church to become routine and lose its meaning, and it urges Sonrise to re-center around the purpose God has given—one rooted in the gospel and exemplified by Christ’s sacrificial love.

The message celebrates the tangible impact of our mission: growing youth ministries, community partnerships, testimonies of life change and baptism. This message emphasizes that mission alone isn’t enough; we must carry by values such as gospel truth, love for people, prayer, generosity, and devotion. When these values are lived out, theChurch becomes an overflow of Jesus’ love. Ultimately, this message is both a gratitude-filled reflection on what God has done and a challenge to Sonrise carry that mission forward, together, into the future as both the church and the Church.
