Foster Care Supply Drive
Right here in our community, foster families are stepping in to care for vulnerable children—often with little notice and limited resources. We’re partnering with Restoration 225 to meet urgent needs for local foster families, and this is an opportunity for all of us to turn compassion into action.
Foster families say “yes” during moments of crisis and transition, and that yes often carries financial strain and emotional weight. As a church, we have the opportunity to stand beside them. This isn’t just a donation drive—it’s a visible expression of the gospel. When we serve vulnerable children and the families caring for them, we reflect the heart of Christ.
And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
— Matthew 25:40
Urgent Needs for Local Foster Families
When a child enters foster care, they may arrive with very few belongings, and something as simple as a car seat, bedding, or diapers can provide safety, comfort, and dignity in a difficult moment.
Every item we are collecting matters:
- Car Seats – represents safety
- Twin Kids Bedding – represents comfort
- Diapers – diapers represent dignity
- Infant Formula – represents provision
- Target / Walmart Gift Cards
Together, these practical gifts become a powerful expression of love.
Collection Dates
Collection begins Sunday, February 22
Final collection day: Sunday, March 8
Bring your items with you on Sunday and drop them off at the designated collection area at Sonrise Church. Invite your small group to participate, and let’s show foster families they’re not alone.
If shopping isn’t possible for you, gift cards are a meaningful and flexible way to give.
