At Sonrise Church in Santee, we believe caring for others is one of the clearest ways to show the love of Jesus. Through our Care & Benevolence Ministry, we support individuals and families across Santee, Lakeside, and El Cajon who are facing hardship or crisis. Whether it’s prayer, financial help, or practical support, our team is here to walk alongside you with compassion and hope.
Our goal is simple—to help people experience God’s love in real, tangible ways. When life gets heavy, you don’t have to face it alone. The Sonrise Care & Benevolence Team is ready to listen, pray, and help you take the next step toward healing and wholeness in Christ.

Church doesn’t have to be intimidating. At Sonrise, you can show up as you are, connect with people who get you, and leave knowing it was worth it.
