Adult & Family Programs
Sunday's @ Sonrise
Every Sunday, we gather to worship God, hear biblical teaching, and experience His presence together. Our services are designed to be welcoming, uplifting, and practical—helping you grow in faith and connect with others.
Wednesday Prayer & Connect Groups
Each Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8pm we gather at Sonrise Church (8805 N. Magnolia Ave) to hear a short message, pray, and then sit around tables in small groups to go through a bible study.
Sunday Classes
Grow in your faith and deepen your understanding of God’s Word through our engaging classes for all ages and stages of life. Whether you’re new to the faith or looking to go deeper, there’s a place for you to learn and connect.
Small Groups
You weren’t meant to do life alone. Our Small Groups are where faith becomes personal, friendships grow deep, and prayers are shared.
Christian Counseling
When life feels overwhelming or relationships become strained, Sonrise Church offers caring Christian counseling to walk with you and point you toward God’s hope and healing.
Care & Benevolence
Assistance can be provided on a confidential, case-by-case basis to those in need.
Visitation & Phone Calls
Phone calls or personal visits can be made to those who are ill or are troubled by difficult life circumstances.
Funerals & Memorials
When you experience the loss of a loved one through death, it is an honor for the church to support you and your family through this difficult time.
Kairos Prison Ministry
Sonrise Church partners with Kairos Prison Ministry to bring Christ’s love, hope, and healing to those behind bars through prayer, fellowship, and life-changing conversations.
Young Adult Programs
Young Adults Small Group

Pre-Marital Counseling
Preparing for marriage is one of the most meaningful steps you can take in your faith journey. At Sonrise Church, our pre-marital counseling is designed to help engaged couples (and those thinking about getting engaged) build a Christ-centered foundation for a lifelong marriage.
Sonrise Youth Programs
Wednesday Youth Nights
Sonrise Youth Night exist to create an authentic community of students who desire to love Jesus, love others, and serve our neighbor. Everyone in high school and middle school is welcome to join in for a high-energy time of games, worship, and small group fellowship.
Sunday Youth Connect
We have Youth Connect every Sundays from 10:10-10:40am. It’s a time of fellowship and connection, with messages from some of the youth leaders. Students are encouraged to either serve or sit with their families at either the 9am or 10:45am service!
School & Lunch Clubs
We are part of faith clubs at high schools all around East County San Diego. You can find leaders from Sonrise Youth at a variety of east county San Diego school clubs every week.
Sonrise Kids' Programs
Sonrise Kids Sunday's
On Sundays at 9:00 AM & 10:40 AM, the Sonrise Kids program creates a joyful space for kids—from newborns to 5th graders—to encounter Jesus, sing, play, and learn together. We partner with parents to build authentic faith and character, teaching a new Bible story each week and giving kids something exciting to look forward to each service.
Wednesday Kids Nights
Every Wednesday at 6:30 PM, kids get together for a fun, mid-week experience where they worship, learn, and grow in community. Through games, a Bible story, and age-appropriate activities, children from infants through 5th grade dive into truth in a lively environment that helps faith hit home mid-week.
Child Dedication
We believe children are a gift from God. Child dedication is an opportunity to commit your child to the Lord and invite your church family to partner with you in raising them in faith.
