Whether you’re exploring your faith, navigating a difficult season, or simply looking for meaningful friendships, there’s a group ready to welcome you just as you are. The Culinary Team is a Life Group for men who love to serve others through food and fellowship. As an extension of our Hospitality ministry, this group prepares meals for special church events, creating spaces where people can connect and feel cared for.
This Life Group is a place for men who are newer to their faith and eager to grow in their walk with Jesus. Together, we’ll dig into God’s Word, build lasting friendships, and encourage one another as we learn to serve the Lord, our families, and our community. We meet every other Tuesday at 6:15pm.
A small group of maturing Christian men committed to standing watch over our church and one another. As spiritual lookouts, we fill the gaps wherever they appear—protecting, praying, and serving with purpose. Together we’re growing as disciples of Jesus, sharpening one another through Scripture, accountability, and mentorship, so every man is equipped to lead with strength and faith.
This Women’s Group meets weekly on Thursday’s at 9:30am in Santee to read the Word of God and grow deeper in our spiritual walk and prayer life.
At this Women’s Group, Ladies of Faith, we deliberately and intentionally train others to stand, fight and declare the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus.
Come and sit at the Father’s Table. This prayer ministry is designed just for women who truly want to grow in the Lord through the ministry of prayer.
This women’s small group is focused on discipleship and meets on Tuesday’s at 6:30pm in Santee. The group is run by Kelly Mooney.
Teaches a foundation for Christian life and growth. Also, you will learn how to share your faith and lead a Bible study. This Co-Ed Group, headed by Ron Spagnola, meets on Thursdays at 6 pm in the Sonrise Prayer Room.
Join us weekly as we gather to share a potluck meal and study the Bible by chapter and verse. Our diverse group of Christians with varying levels of Bible knowledge come together to fellowship, pray, worship, learn, ask questions and grow in our walk with the Lord.
A safe and supportive place for those walking the journey of addiction recovery. Together, we share encouragement, find strength in God’s Word, and walk alongside one another toward freedom and lasting hope in Christ. The Co-Ed Group is led by Erica Celio, and meets on Thursday at 5:30 in El Cajon.
Elder Rene Franken will be teaching this Sonrise Co-Ed Group, “A Spirit-Filled Life,” based on the book by Charles Stanley. The group gathers each Tuesday starting at 6:30pm. For those interested in this wonderful class, please send your contact information to rene.franken44@gmail.com
Church doesn’t have to be intimidating. At Sonrise, you can show up as you are, connect with people who get you, and leave knowing it was worth it.
