My wife and I first began attending Sonrise Church in 2003. Now, along with my two kids, my family has made Sonrise our church home. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in a wide range of ministries, including Children’s Church, Awanas, High School and Youth ministries, and various tech roles. Each opportunity has helped to shape my walk with God and deepen my commitment to serving the church community.
I’m passionate about living out the purpose that God gives me, pursuing the things I believe He calls me to do with intention and joy. Most recently, that calling has centered on teaching and helping others to know and follow Jesus, as well as studying apologetics to strengthen both my own faith and the faith of those around me. My greatest desire is to faithfully steward the opportunities God places in my life and to encourage others to do the same.
This message teaches that we often see life through a small, limited perspective, but God sees the full widescreen picture—just as shown through Joseph’s story, where years of hardship were part of a bigger plan for good. It challenges us to trust God even when we don’t understand, believing He is working behind the scenes in every season.
