Sonrise Church exists to help people know and follow Jesus. This mission shapes every part of who we are—from our weekend gatherings and family ministries to our digital presence and local partnerships.
We are a church that values clarity, action, and spiritual growth. We prioritize biblical teaching, intentional discipleship, and an environment where people feel welcome, known, and challenged to take their next step.

Show Up
Consistent presence matters. It starts with showing up. Join us on Sundays — not just to attend, but to come ready. Ready to worship. Ready to grow. Ready to hear from God. Our weekend service is a place where you’ll be welcomed as you are, and challenged to become who God created you to be. Show up consistently, on time, and with expectation.
Jump In
Community leads to growth. Faith was never meant to be lived alone. Jump into community by building relationships, learning names, and taking steps together. Join a group. Serve on a team. Ask questions. Make time for people. As you jump in, you’ll begin to experience the richness of biblical community and the growth that comes from walking with others.
Live Out
Faith must be active. Jesus didn’t just call us to believe — He called us to follow. Live out your faith by serving others, giving generously, and sharing your story. Whether it’s volunteering at church, supporting your neighbors, or inviting friends to Sonrise, your life can be a living testimony to the hope you’ve found in Christ.

Church doesn’t have to be intimidating. At Sonrise, you can show up as you are, connect with people who get you, and leave knowing it was worth it. At Sonrise, worship is energetic, heartfelt, and centered on Jesus. You’ll hear modern worship songs led by a live band that invites everyone to engage—whether you like to sing loud, raise your hands, or simply take it in. It’s a powerful time to connect with God and with others in our East County community.
We offer two Sunday morning services at 9:00 AM and 10:40 AM. Each service features the same worship and teaching, so you can choose the time that fits your schedule best.
Sonrise Youth is made up of middle school and high school students. We gather together every Wednesday and Sunday to develop relationships and grow in our faith. You can learn more about Sonrise Youth here.
